    Description

    A Building Contractor in Essex is looking for a proactive Bid Coordinator to join their energetic team.

    Job Title: Bid Coordinator

    The selected candidate will become part of a welcoming and versatile group of professionals dedicated to fostering a positive work environment.

    Emphasizing top-notch Health and Safety practices, timely project delivery within budget, and hassle-free execution, the company's dedication to quality is evident from its repeat business.

    The Bid Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining quality standards and supporting in ITTs, PQQs, and tender submissions.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Reviewing tender documents to grasp client requirements
    • Planning bid submissions to meet deadlines
    • Collaborating with other managers to finalize bid details
    • Creating case studies and reference materials
    • Modifying past tenders for reuse of relevant content
    • Gathering materials from different departments to ensure a cohesive bid document
    • Ensuring the accuracy and punctuality of bid submissions.

    Requirements for the role:

    • Prior experience in Bid roles in the Construction sector
    • Familiarity with PQQs, ITTs, and bid writing
    • Experience in maintaining a bid library
    • Design knowledge is advantageous
    • Aspiration to advance to a Senior role
