Controls Partner - Legal and BCS

Glasgow

As a Barclays Controls Partner - Legal and Barclays Corporate Secretariat (BCS), you will be assisting the operation and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and the Barclays Control Framework across the Legal Function and Corporate Secretariat Verticals and for supporting the Legal Risk and Corporate Governance Horizontals to ensure that Businesses operate in accordance with these Horizontals' framework/requirement.

Your role includes, assisting with the production of internal and external reports.

What will you be doing?

Supporting the implementation of relevant frameworks across aligned Functions and Horizontals
Ensuring Processes and Controls are managed compliantly and adhere to the ERMF
Helping with the implementation of consistent and effective processes and methodologies
Assisting with risk and control assessment, monitoring, testing, analyzing and issue escalation processes
Preparing of accurate and concise audienceappropriate internal and external reports
Assisting with other appropriate Risk management metrics

Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to work independently, manage and prioritize workload effectively
Excellent written communications and exceptional analytical skills needed to supplement reporting commentary and wide range of deck production
Working to high standards of performance with ability to prioritize and work under pressure

Skills that will help you in the role:

Detailed knowledge of Operational Risk Management Frameworks and Control Frameworks and associated Policies and Standards
Broad experience of working within a regulatory, risk, control or governance function
Proven experience of working with Policies and Standards and compliance with Frameworks, Policies and Standards Requirement
Broad experience of risk and control selfassessments, controls assurance and assessment methodologies
