    Description

    We are excited to announce that Freejam, the team behind the popular online game Robocraft, is seeking a highly talented Lead Artist to join us!


    Robocraft 2, our highly anticipated sequel, is in the works and we need someone with exceptional skills to take charge of the game's artistic direction.


    Responsibilities:

    • Take charge of the art style for the entire project, from in-game content to promotional materials
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of artists
    • Ensure the team has the necessary resources and training to excel
    • Develop and document art processes for the team to follow
    • Manage the art team's schedule and deadlines efficiently
    • Optimize art content for performance
    • Keep updated on the latest art tools and techniques

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience with AAA games
    • Ability to lead a team of artists
    • Strong skills in hard-surface modeling and texturing
    • Proficiency in environment art and Unity HDRP lighting
    • Familiarity with shader building tools like Unity Shader Graph
    • Proficiency in software such as Maya, Photoshop, Substance, and others
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
    • Proactive and team-oriented
    • Passion for game development
