Senior User Researcher

We are seeking a Senior User (UX) Researcher to join our vibrant product team. We need your help to establish and build a strong user research practice alongside product and engineering teams.

What You'll Do:

Proactively identify User Research opportunities and create research plans using a range of research methods to achieve business objectives.
Lead research projects including defining objectives and methodology, managing and leading fieldwork, and synthesising outputs into compelling insights, artefacts (e.g., archetypes, user needs, customer journey maps, behavioural models, video edits, etc) and stories.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Help your team and wider stakeholders understand and empathise with users and bring research learnings into the product roadmap and design process.
Present user insights to project stakeholders at all levels.
Work closely with Product Managers on Product Discovery (e.g., industry trends, market research, analytics).
Determine measurable and actionable user experience metrics.
Champion the voice of the user and a usercentric design approach.
Demonstrate and advocate the value of research.
Contribute and define best practice for User Research.
Coach teams on good User Research practice.

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience of presenting user research findings in a wide variety of formats and contexts.
Proven experience of user research practices in an organisation.
Extensive experience of planning, facilitating and analysing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
Experience uncovering unarticulated user needs, synthesising existing research from multiple sources, and translating into digestible, actionable insights which are connected to business goals.
Ability to distil complex information and concepts into compelling stories
Confidence to challenge established perspectives and approaches, backed up by sound rationale, good practice and insights.
Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and organisational skills.
