    Head of Strategic Planning & Analysis | London area (Hybrid, 1-2 days in office weekly) | £75,000 - £80,000 | Energy


    Simpson Judge has partnered with a well established Renewable Energy company who are looking for a Head of Strategic Planning & Analysis to join their London office (Hybrid) near Oxford Circus.

    Occasional travel to their headquarters in Hampshire would be expected, this would not be regular.

    This is an exciting time to join an award winning UK Solar Supplier, headquartered in the UK with subsidiaries worldwide.


    This role will have you reporting directly to the CFO, working within a thriving finance team that is experiencing unbelievable growth.


    This role is aimed towards those that are experienced within a Big 4 environment, and now making their 1st into industry.


    Responsibilities include:
    n


    • Serving as a finance and strategic planning partner to the leadership team.n
    • Conduct analysis on topics such as new market opportunities, external policy, strategic initiatives, business development, competitive landscape, and cross-business segment opportunities, applying insights gained to advise on strategic decision-making and planning.n
    • Lead in the creation of frameworks, analysis and evaluation of strategic opportunities and options to support strategic decisions and manage strategic and planning projects utilising these frameworks.n
    • Identifying issues, developing hypotheses and communicating insights andnrecommendations to key decision makers.n
    • Suggesting improvements to existing business strategies to drive growth.n
    • Producing reports and presentations for the leadership team.n
    • Coordinate and advise on business planning efforts across all business units and functional areas.
    • Conducting due diligence as and when required on Mergers, acquisitions, new markets andnproducts.

    Candidate Requirements:
    n


    • ACA Qualified from Big 4 firm, at least 5+ years tenure at the firm.n
    • Commercially minded, any experience in FP&A or M&A would be desirable.n
    • B.S. or B.A. in accounting, finance, math, economics, business, or science based degree.n
    • Masters degree in a similar field is preferred.
