    Description

    The Finance Officer - Service Charge will play a pivotal role in the accounting and finance department of our client in the Housing sector. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in service charge accounting and financial reporting.

    Description

    • Manage and maintain service charge accounts.
    • Prepare and present accurate financial reports on service charges.
    • Work closely with various departments to ensure financial transparency.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in service charge accounts.
    • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets related to service charges.
    • Perform adhoc tasks, supporting the Receivable and Payable Function
    • Contribute to the overall goals of the Accounting & Finance Department.

    Profile

    A successful Finance Officer - Service Charge should have:

    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
    • Experience working within a Housing finance team.
    • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Job Offer

    • Competitive hourly rate of £17.10 to £20.90.
