TheRole
Accountable for thedevelopment of seasonally relevant teamwear apparel collectionswhich are aligned to the commercial brief and the productrangeplans.
Provides comprehensive support forall aspects of apparel development to achieve delivery and qualityin line with business expectations.
Understandsand adheres to key dates and gates so that orders can be placedontime and according to the seasonal calendar.
Responsibilities
Manages the successful completion of delivery priorities withinallocated collections.
Meets output of work andkey event stages within the critical path framework raise delayconcerns to line Manager in a timely manner ensuring impact todelivery can be minimised.
Delivers andmaintains the highest possible standards for all apparel throughoutevery stage of the product development cycle from CAD lock down toproduction seal ensuring Castore quality fit standards and costexpectations are achieved.
Responsible for theaccuracy of information and timeliness within tech pack files anddepartment tracking tools adopting a right firsttime approach todevelopment.
Ensures information distributedexternally is accurate and contains the information necessary forease of understanding by factories including but not limited toDesign Tech & Artwork files CP Tracking documents and costinformation.
Supports the creative vision forthe Castore brand and deliver the best execution within apparel.
Participates when required in productarchitecture/review meetings alongside crossfunctional categoryteams to identify and understand declining product areas and helpidentify opportunities for growth.
SupportsDeveloper and Senior Developer working with the designers garmenttech and materials team on the most appropriate fabrics trims fitand construction selection to ensure end products are fit forpurpose and engineered to maximise efficiency both technically andfrom a cost perspective.
Delivers on timebuyready and shipment sign off to critical path expectationsidentifies potential challenges and delays raising awarenessimmediately with senior line manager.
Attendsweekly calendar meetings calling out any risk to key datesassociated impacts and options to get back ontrack where required.
Skills &Qualities
Knowledge andExperience:
Product developmentexperience working in similar business environment or able todemonstrate transferable skills.
Good knowledgeof the product development process.
Computerliteracy Excel Word Outlook Adobe Illustrator.
Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability toensure information facts and figures are accurate and free frommistakes.
Experience working crossfunctionallyliaising with peer groups across a business to drive efficienciesand results.
Working within strict deadlinesand able to be adaptive to changes.
Comfortablein a fastpaced and everchanging business environment with theability to respond as needed within an appropriate timeframe.
Hold a relevant fashion or textile degree.
