Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a business based in Gateshead on the appointment of a Finance Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake regular inputting of all invoices to the Company's SAGE financial system to include matching invoices to existing purchase orders.
  • Prepare payments for subcontractors via either BACS or cheque in readiness for final approval.
  • Respond to direct telephone enquiries from subcontractors / suppliers relating to payments made, due or outstanding.
  • Reconcile statements from suppliers to ensure that outstanding payments can be identified and any necessary action taken.
  • Processing of payroll (weekly) through timesheet allocation analysis
  • Monthly expenses interrogation, review and processing The main duties listed above are not intended to be exhaustive and may be revised in accordance with the requirements of the department and the company
