    Chief Executive - Gloucester, United Kingdom - Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust

    Is pivotal for the sustained and ongoing transformation of the Trust's service performance, its leadership and its culture - in pursuit of our vision, aims and objectives.

    Will maintain and build a strong and committed Executive Team to equip the Trust with expert clinical skills, agile business acumen and best people management to relentlessly pursue quality improvement and top quartile performance.

    Will be a role-model for colleagues, ensuring they are personally aligned to the betterment of people experience whether for service users or colleagues through driving innovation transformational change across the organisation, local health and care system and the wider health economy.

    Will develop alongside the Trust Chair and the Board, the strategic direction of the Trust utilising voice and experience of Foundation Trust members and Governors.

    Will be a key ICS leader with providers, commissioners and regulators to ensure seamless system partnership pathways and working.

    The Chief Executive :

    Will be a key ICS leader with providers, commissioners and regulators to ensure seamless system partnership pathways and working. The Chief Executive is responsible for :

    Ensuring the overall provision of safe, high quality, people-centered services that meet or exceed performance targets and are delivered within resources, focusing on improved outcomes and removing health inequalities.

    Leading and strategically managing the Trust to ensure that it meets its legal, regulatory and statutory obligations.

    Providing strategic vision, leadership and direction to develop the Trust as a leading provider of physical, mental health and learning disabilities services, and ensuring it develops its strategy and achieves its aspirations and targets.

    Ensuring the Executive Team maintains and further develops a performance management culture that encourages achievement of the Trust's internal and external targets in terms of delivery of services, quality and financial control.

    Ensuring that the Executive Team have the skills and understanding to deliver their roles and functions successfully, and for supporting innovative and transformative service improvements.

    Leading the Trust's responses to the rapidly changing external environment.

    Promoting and developing a positive culture of partnership, co-design, and co-development, both internally and externally, within the Gloucestershire ICS, South West and more widely.

    Ensuring the highest standards of governance are met, observing the Nolan Principles and other pertinent Codes and Guidance.

    Gloucestershire Health & Care Services deliver community health & social care services for adults & older people via a model of locality-based cluster teams.

    Each of the clusters consist of Nursing, Therapy and Reablement Teams working closely alongside social work professionals to provide support to people within their own homes and within bed based reablement units.

    We work closely with GPs, local communities, acute and community hospital(s) and other partners to enable people to live as independently and for as long as possible within their own home.

    We are a clinically led organisation where individuals are valued for their unique professional contribution to ensuring best patient care.

    Continuing Professional Development is a key priority and we actively promote and develop the broadening roles that Physiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals are able to contribute.

    We have an extensive range of Advanced Practitioners, Clinical Specialists, Professional Leads and Non-Medical Prescribers across a wide range of specialisms that actively support clinical colleagues within our organisation.

    Our well established, structured Clinical Supervision and In-Service Training programmes contribute to the learning culture which develops and challenges thinking and practice.

    The qualification, training & experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.

    This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions.

    Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
