Contract Length: 6 Months

Location:
Hybrid/Warrington or Workington - hybrid - 3 days on site/2 WFH

Pay Rate to Intermediary:
£28.97 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Buyer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR BUYER


The role holder will review all contract terms and conditions and review multiple contracts from the start of the assignment and then on an ongoing basis, discuss these with business users, other internal departments such as legal and negotiate any changes required with suppliers.


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR BUYER

  • HNC /HND/Degree in Business Management or other relevant disciplines.
  • Experience working in procurement/supply covering complex requirements.
  • Experience in managing contracts / a portfolio of contracts
  • Working knowledge of terms and conditions.
  • Ability to present data effectively at all levels of the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders and supplier organisations
