    Italian Senior Supply Planner

    We are thrilled to collaborate with a rapidly growing and innovative food brand that has revolutionized numerous grocery food categories with their top-notch products. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Supply Planner with expertise in overseeing a complex inbound FMCG supply chain network.

    Having become a well-known name among UK food enthusiasts, they are now concentrating on new product development and expanding internationally with the aim of doubling the business turnover within the next year.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the end-to-end inbound UK retail supply process with major contract manufacturing partners.
    • Maintain relationships with 3PLs in the UK and other distributors, ensuring SLAs and service targets are met.
    • Supervise Inventory Management and stock reconciliation, providing accurate reporting and analytics on overall stock position.
    • Evaluate cost to serve regularly, identifying opportunities for cost savings in logistics and distribution.
    • Supervise Supply Planning for a significant number of SKUs and international Contract/3rd Party Manufacturers.
    • Analyze customer order data to optimize freight expenses.
    • Collaborate with the wider Supply Chain Team to enable effective planning and exceptional customer service delivery.
    • Develop and track KPIs for key metrics like OTIF, Fill Rate, Stock accuracy, and customer compliance.
    • Work with the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics to establish and implement the business Supply Planning strategy.

    As a successful SME undergoing continuous growth, the Senior Supply Planner must be highly proactive, taking the lead and bringing the following experience to the table -

    • Extensive inbound Supply Chain experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
    • Proficient in managing end-to-end supply of products from 3rd party/contract manufacturers.
    • Expertise in managing multiple 3PL & Logistics partners.
    • Enthusiastic inventory professional with strong analytical capabilities.
    • Experience collaborating with demand planning and S&OP teams to translate long-term forecasts into detailed Supply Plans, ensuring on-time delivery to UK 3PLs.
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Highly proactive individual, capable of thinking innovatively under pressure.
    • Skilled in number crunching with solid experience in Excel & ERP systems.
