We are looking for a
SIPS Co-ordinator on a full time temporary basis to join our Projects & TAR team based at Grangemouth.
The SIPS co-ordinator will be responsible for estimating, coordinating and confirming readiness and quality of all SIPs requirements in the Corrosion Loop (CLP) inspection process, including second level supervision of the contractors executing the scope.
They will own, drive and manage the scaffolding requirements, including the standing scaffolding report on a daily basis and carry out aforementioned remit safely, efficiently and cost effectively while complying with all company procedures and international standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate SIPS resource to facilitate execution of CLP scope in the most efficient way possible.
- Second level supervision of all CLP SIPS work fronts across whole refinery, including a minimum of 13 contractors.
- Final technical acceptance of the work fronts ensuring all QA and housekeeping requirements are met.
- Technical input into largescale maintenance projects to minimise duration and cost and maximise return and productivity.
- Direct and influence key stakeholder in the SIPS process with a current cost in excess of £8m P/A.
- Working within and influencing the Offsites normal maintenance budget of circa £15m P/A.
Education/Experience:
- 10 year time served in a SIPS background
- Considerable knowledge of Scaffolding techniques and fully conversant with SG4:15 and TG 20:1
- Scaffolding/Insulation Inspector Certified
- IRATA (or equivalent) Rope Access Trained
- Direct experience of SIPs within the oil and gas industry working on term contract, projects, and TAR¿S
- Experience in the supervision of a discipline specific team
- 5 years experience of the Estimation and QA of SIPS resourcing
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels, particularly client planning teams and SIPS contractor employees and supervision
- A detailed understanding of the maintenance workflow process and Maximo
- Understanding of the budgeting process and cost control
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft and CMMS
- HNC and SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Track record in successfully delivering set piece events e.g. small projects, CLPs
- Knowledge of national and international technical standards
- Proficient in reading isometric drawings
