    Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact on students' lives? We are currently working with a Mainstream Secondary School in Greenwich who are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join their team from January.


    As a teaching assistant at this school in Greenwich, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic progress and personal development.

    You will work closely with classroom teachers, aiding during lessons, helping with planning and preparation, and offering individualized support to students who may require extra help.

    Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant role will include:


    • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
    • Assisting with the planning and preparation of teaching materials.
    • Providing individual support to students, including those with special educational needs.
    • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
    • Promoting student engagement and participation in classroom activities.

    Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:

    • Relevant experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of the secondary school curriculum and an understanding of teaching strategies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
    • Located within a commutable distance of Greenwich
    • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and work with a diverse range of students.
    • Empathy, patience, and the ability to understand and support students' individual needs.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
    • A collaborative approach, working well within a team environment.
