Job Description

A fantastic opportunity awaits an ambitious Financial Controller to join our Finance team working across Europe & India regions.

In this role, you will oversee the financial management of a program focused on streamlining operations across 18 European countries.

As the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting capital restructuring initiatives in preparation for entity liquidation
Leading the consolidation of legal entities and branches in the designated countries
Supervising a team of accountants responsible for financial activities
Coordinating with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
Ensuring statutory compliance and optimal financial controls
Managing reconciliations and account discrepancies
Supporting system implementations and enhancements

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

A degree in Accounting or related field
Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) with tax expertise
Strong resilience and proactivity
5-7 years of experience as a Financial Controller in a global setting
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous
Capability for international travel (up to 10%)
