Pastoral Support Worker
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pastoral Support Worker.
This position is based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals within our community.
Provide Emotional Support:
Offer a listening ear and emotional support to students or individuals facing challenges or difficulties.
Be prepared to assist in crisis situations, providing immediate support and liaising with relevant professionals when necessary.
Establish effective communication channels with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Proven experience in a pastoral or support role within an educational or community setting.
Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals requiring pastoral support.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse needs of the individuals supported.
A relevant qualification in pastoral care, counselling, social work, or a related field is desirable but not essential. The position requires commitment Monday through Friday, with flexibility to respond to the dynamic needs of the role.
The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from £80 to £100 per day, depending on the applicants experience and qualifications.
