Description

You will provide support focused on active, empathic listening, helping the person to problem solve and to link into services and other local support resources.

You will help co-produce a crisis plan, relapse prevention and other self-management tools in partnership with the individual, then support the individual through this.

You will support the individual to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence to withstand future life challenges, whilst maintaining good mental health and wellbeing.


About you
We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • A detailed knowledge of the effects of stigma and discrimination
  • A detailed knowledge of recovery in the context of mental health
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage a caseload
  • Good IT skills
  • Selfmotivation and the ability to work effectively as both part of a team and independently
  • Have knowledge of issues surrounding homelessness, financial inclusion or substance misuse


This role is remote working with some face-to-face working with clients and some work with Primary Care Network's in the south east of Northumberland, so it would be desirable if you have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, but this is not essential.
