    Compliance Manager at Amazon EU S.a.r.l (AEU UK)

    We are seeking an experienced compliance professional to join our team at Amazon EU S.a.r.l (AEU UK). Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting various credit broking propositions within the UK.

    The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing regulatory oversight, offering expert advice to stakeholders, and contributing to strategic design with regulatory insights. This position calls for a subject matter expert who can thrive in a dynamic, growing team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assisting the Senior Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Reviewing and approving financial promotions to meet regulatory standards
    • Providing advice on consumer credit requirements and supporting new business propositions
    • Delivering training on relevant consumer credit regulations
    • Staying updated on credit broking and insurance regulations
    • Monitoring regulatory changes and sharing key updates with internal stakeholders

    About the Team:

    The AEU UK Compliance team is a dedicated group of professionals committed to facilitating Amazon's growth in a compliant and sustainable manner. We value innovation, uphold high standards, and engage in constructive debates to stay true to our core values.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of four years of generalist compliance experience in financial services or credit broking
    • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and their application to UK firms
    • Excellent team player with effective communication and problem-solving skills
    • Outstanding organizational abilities and multitasking skills
    • Familiarity with the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) and complaint handling rules
    • Adaptability to learn new skills and meet evolving requirements swiftly
    • Effective influencing, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
    • Resilient and capable of excelling in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Background in financial services
    • Experience in consumer credit, mortgage, or loans sector
