The Company


Brewster Partners are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst on behalf of a Leeds based client operating within the financial services sector.

The Role
This is a permanent and full-time role. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working and is distributed across the days of Monday - Friday.


A vital part of this role will be processing US Tax Residency Forms (W-8BEN) on behalf of clients so previous experience or awareness of these will be extremely beneficial.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate directly with clients to provide and obtain accurate information to be compared with that on the system
  • Ability to scrutinise information and detect / assess errors and the necessary corrections
  • Daily direct client contact involving an understanding of US language / requirements
  • Aid team development through cross training other team members and contributing to succession planning
  • Produce accurate varied documentation, including letters, reports and statements to be distributed to clients
  • Contribute to the creation, calculation and submitting of regulatory reports including ISA returns
  • Create, renew, and update US Income data
  • Awareness and reporting of potential risk to client or firm
  • Be committed to making improvement recommendations and supporting other members of the team alongside taking accountability for own learning & development
  • Evaluate client tax mailings and deal with potential queries from these accordingly


This role would be well suited to an individual who has previous experience within the financial services sector working with US tax residency forms (W-8BEN).

Good attention to detail and an ability to use initiative alongside experience working within the stockbroking sector would be beneficial, alongside:

  • Educated to A
  • Level standard or equivalent
  • Passed or actively working towards the L3 CISI IOC (IAQ)
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS office
  • Knowledge / Awareness in the operations of financial markets
  • Working knowledge of the US tax residency process & forms
