    Description

    CFU Middle Office provides specialist anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing, sanctions, financial crime checks, and other general compliance and regulatory support to the frontline business units of the Bank. As a Senior Associate - Credit Administration, you will be responsible to support the credit documentation oversight function. You will review relevant systems to carry out accurate and timely loan facility drawdowns from the first line of defence (1LoD). This is a full time permanent position.

    Key responsibilities

    • Liaise with Relationship Managers to ensure the accurate and timely input of collateral onto GRMS for Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions departments, taking an active role in the management of the underlying data
    • Monitor the receipt of financial covenants for new and existing loan facilities owned by Corporate Banking department and the Financial Institutions department
    • Assist with the calculation of internal ratings for Corporate Banking customers at the annual review stage
    • Assist with the determination of risk classifications of Corporate Banking customers by initiating the process and liaising with front office
    • Assist with the installation of Group Customers in CCMS to enhance the Bank's risk management system
    • Carry out other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Team Lead

    Requirements

    • Degree educated in Business Law, Finance, or Business Management
    • Good knowledge of Corporate Banking credit documentation
    • Relevant experience in a credit documentation and/or operations function
    • Relevant knowledge and understanding of general and structured Corporate Banking products and services
    • Understanding of economic and regulatory environments in the UK
    • Understanding of the Corporate Banking business landscape in the UK
    • Demonstrated track record in driving operational efficiency
    • Attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to use Excel to manage data and produce relevant MI
    • Good communication skills with ability to interact with Senior Management and other stakeholders
    • Fluency in Mandarin is desired, but not essential
