Description

Butler Rose is exclusively supporting a premium brand based in Milton Keynes with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner - Capex.

This role will report into the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and the Finance Business Partner - Capex position will be responsible for developing insightful analyses of both actual and anticipated expenses related to Powerunit capex projects to keepoperations within budgetary constraints and the business competitive.

Within this business unit, you will also be accountable for the planning, controlling, and reporting processes.

Duties will include the following:

Oversee planning initiatives related to CAPEX expenditures. Monthly updates and upkeep are performed on forecasts for the entire year.
Take the initiative in managing and reconciling GL accounts relating to CAPEX, and keep a close eye on balances.
Collaborating with the Controller to organise planning data so that it may be combined with predictions and budgets.
Retaining regular communication with project managers to develop a thorough grasp of the capital expenditures being made.
Assisting stakeholders in the development of capex approval papers to be submitted to HQ, including the identification of supplemental operating expenses or savings due to the project.
Participating in the development of statutory accounting and internal and external audits.
Lead an Assistant Investment Financial Business Partner
Ensure that workplace procedures adhere to group controlling guidelines
Preparation of adhoc management information and supporting on projects.

Person Spec

CIMA/ACCA Qualified
Experience of working with engineering capital projects
At least 3 years Management Accounting experience, preferably within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
Experience in leading crossfunctional projects
Strong analytical skills and being able to manipulate large data sets
