Description
Come and join our dynamic and enthusiastic team based at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital in Main Theatres. We currently require a Theatre Practitioner to join the scrub team in General Theatres.Our shifts patterns cover a mixture of earlies, lates, long days, nights and weekends.
We understand the importance of supporting professional development and offer training both within and outside the organisation.
Participate in a scrubbed/circulating role as required, ensuring the safe care of the patient undergoing surgical intervention.
Act at all times as the patients advocate in care during the period of surgical intervention.
Ensure that the cleaning and preparation of all equipment and surgical areas is carried out in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Follow Trust policies and procedures, paying particular attention to Health and Safety, COSHH regulations and Infection Control policies thereby ensuring a clean and safe environment.
