    About Our Team:

    We are a region of around 100 professionals spread over three offices in East of England. Our main goal is to provide construction solutions for a diverse client base by offering a wide range of services. We prioritize personal and career growth through clear career structures and development programs. Our "Freedom to Grow" initiative allows for a flexible work approach.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with an Associate or Director in a highly experienced team to manage and oversee cost management for new care home and retirement living facilities for various Clients. Projects are located across England, with focus on the southern and eastern regions.
    • Handle the entire project lifecycle from initial estimates to on-site delivery, taking on the role of an Employer's Agent. Responsible for successful project delivery and managing project finances.
    • Skillfully support clients and colleagues, including mentoring junior staff on projects ranging from £5m to £50m.
    • Cultivate relationships with existing Clients, contractors, and supply chain, while seeking to understand Clients' businesses and demonstrate client focus.
    • Independently deliver projects with minimal supervision in a client-facing role.
    • Efficiently manage and complete commissions to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Mentor junior staff to provide Cost Management services effectively.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to build long-term relationships and effectively balance people and processes.
    • Self-motivated individual from a consultancy or client organization background, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
    • Proven experience in providing CM services in a consulting environment, including various aspects like Pre Contract Estimating and Cost Reporting.
    • Experience in residential and care projects is beneficial.
    • Prior experience in managing internal resources and mentoring junior staff.
    • Good knowledge of contracts, especially the JCT Design and Build Form.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
    • Chartered Status with RICS or equivalent institution.
    • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
    • CSCS card holder.
