Do you have a passion for gardening, with experience and knowledge of plant and tree care?

Estates and Grounds maintenance at St Margaret's Hospice is entering into an exciting phase of development.

As such we are looking for a part-time Gardener (16 hours per week) to to provide an in-house, customer focused maintenance and gardening service.

Based in Yeovil, you will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£9,377 per annum.

What can you expect to be doing?


Using your practical skills and own initiative, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing the gardens at our Yeovil Hospice.

Experience with the handling of hand mowers, ride-on mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and leaf blower would be an advantage as they are essential parts of the role.


You will be forward thinking, actively supporting the introduction of new ideas, methods, and processes to continually improve working practices.

With a flexible approach to your day-to-day routines, you will be self-motivated and able to work well as part of a team and supervise a small team of garden volunteers.
