    Senior Financial Analyst

    Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

    This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol.     The Finance function is responsible for providing transactional accounting services; treasury, financial planning, analysis, reporting and commercial finance support to all business units and functions throughout Computershare, across all global locations.

    The Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The role will report to a FP&A Director and will be responsible for delivering and producing management reporting requirements for Senior Management.

    The Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in producing, analysing, and consolidating global business headlines from key financial reports. They will be responsible for maintaining, delivering, and improving analytical processes that supports senior management in providing clear insights to drive the future long-term performance of the business.

    The role consolidates global results, analyses financial data including drafting resulting commentaries, building reports, managing the structural business hierarchies in collaboration with Finance and business teams globally.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the FP&A Director in delivering global month end, forecast, and budget reporting.
    • Complete enhancing Customer, Competitor and Product analysis such as profitability, cross selling, CPU differentiation, SWOT analysis, opportunities for competitive advantage.
    • Focus on profitability and identify future innovative potential growth areas.
    • Consolidate and review global commentary from multiple sources for month end, forecast and budget.
    • Develop global business headlines summarising the drivers for month end, forecasts and budget.
    • Maintain reports, working with each of the regions to make sure we are receiving what is required to consolidate, adjust/adapt to adhoc items that come up throughout the process.
    • Completes enhancing analysis to drive growth and operational efficiencies including month end processing, management review of budget vs. actual results as well as prior year comparisons and trend analysis.
    • Support the development of board decks including creating slides and chart of accounts by reviewing and approving all cost centres and accounts.
    • Support the delivery of process simplification and standardisation to ensure appropriate and efficient policies, procedures and controls are maintained and regularly reviewed.
    • Collaborate with the various departments across the designated business unit.

    What will you bring to the role?

    • Significant experience of Financial Analysis and Forecasting within a professional services environment.
    • Knowledge of Operations within a Financial Services' organisation.
    • Experienced in application of management accounting concepts and Excel for complex analysis of information, Rolling forecast and Long-Range plan development and Exchange rate reporting.
    • Previous experience of partnering with business stakeholders, with the ability to work with a range of colleagues in the organisation.
    • Strong communication (verbal & written) and Stakeholder Management skills.
    • Minimum 2 years of Financial and Analytical experience.
    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or local equivalent).
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related discipline. (Desirable)
