    Description

    This Finance Assistant position, will be an exciting new addition to an already thriving and accomplish finance team for a fast-growing technology company with the opportunity to start immediately. This role will cover the purchase and sales ledger, prepare and process payment runs, reconciliation packs and support with cash flow activities.

    Client Details

    My client are the fast-growing technology company, specialising in providing gaming companies with an interactive software platform to support their businesses. As a subsidiary of a large gaming company themselves, my client have a larger finance team, whilst this position will focus on the entities belonging to the subsidiary. This company is growing at an exponential rate and are excited to expand their team.

    Description

    As the Junior Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:

    • Processing purchase invoices on Sage 200
    • Preparing weekly payment runs
    • Raising and issuing sales invoices
    • Assisting with billing clients
    • Assisting with the preparation of monthly reconciliation and performance packs
    • Supporting with the presentation of these packs
    • Assisting with cash flow management activities
    • Supporting with budgetting and forecasting
    • Assisting with ad hoc analysis and reporting to senior internal stake holders
    • Supporting Financial Controller with ad hoc

    Profile

    The successful Finance Assistant:

    • Finance related degree or experience within a finance position
    • Experienced in excel / large data management on excel
    • Experience in Sage / similar ERP is highly desirable
    • Looking to study AAT / CIMA / ACCA or continue
    • Able to demonstrate strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
    • Able to demonstrate strong inter-personal written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to demonstrate a clear desire to pursue a career in finance and self-development

    Job Offer
