    Our client is a community-focused company that prioritizes fan engagement with various sporting clubs. They collaborate with teams in football, rugby, ice hockey, basketball, netball, and more to offer a comprehensive fan engagement platform.

    This position is pivotal to their growth plans and presents a significant opportunity for individuals aiming to progress into an engineering management role within a successful and scaling startup.

    As a Lead Software Engineer, your responsibilities will entail:

    • Developing user-facing web apps to enhance their platform
    • Engaging in the entire devops lifecycle, from the initial concept to design, delivery, deployment, and support
    • Collaborating with customers to comprehend their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
    • Contributing to strategic decisions regarding the platform's future direction and executing the product roadmap
    • Leading crucial technical projects while mentoring junior team members
    Skills:
    • 5+ years of industry experience working in a software development team
    • Proficient in C# .NET (consideration for other object-oriented languages)
    • Adept at database development
    • Dedication to finding optimal solutions within time and resource constraints
    • Prior experience in a Lead/Principal Development position
    • Familiarity with collaborative development teams and version control systems
    • Readiness to take ownership of challenges
    • Enthusiasm to engage and contribute to all aspects of the startup environment
    • Available to work at least 2 days per week in the Edinburgh office
    Nice to haves:
    • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field
    • Extensive experience in the Microsoft stack, including Blazor, SQL Server, DevOps, and Azure
    • An intriguing side project or endeavor that you can discuss
