Role


The Spray Line Operative will be responsible for the use and cleaning of the spray line as well as the basic quality assurance of produced parts.


Mandatory Responsibilities

  • Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  • Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
  • Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
  • Promote and Display the Epwin Core Values.
Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Paint Line technician to record and review data and use said data to improve line efficiency and quality.
  • Carry our relevant quality checks / inspections on assigned products as required by the product quality plan.
  • Segregate all nonconforming products from good production and aid in analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
  • Record all required information for checking / inspection operations as per company works instructions /specifications.
  • Alert relevant people to process and product concerns. (Paint Line Technician)
  • Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Spray Line Technician and the training plan.
  • Safeguard property issued by the company.
  • Carry out continual visual quality inspections as determined by the product quality plan and procedure.
  • Perform specific quality Checks / Tests as determined by the product quality plan.
  • Pack sprayed products in accordance with the packing specification, as stated on the production schedule.
  • Ensure workplace is clean and tidy all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks.
  • Transfer knowledge and skills among the team (others).
  • Undertake reasonable duties as and when required.
