    Implementation Analyst EM Equities Team

    Reporting to the Head of Implementation EM Equities

    Specific Role Responsibilities
    The Implementation Analyst role is vital to the Investment process providing support to the Fund Management Team by implementing trades based on their models. The jobholder will need to understand client guidelines and regulations in order to calculate and implement trades based on Investment models and strategies owned by the Investment Desk. They are responsible for managing cash positions as well as investing cash flows to models.
    A key function of the role is ensuring models are aligned across strategies by reviewing reports and dashboards. Also responsible for managing Corporate Events and providing reporting to the Fund Managers.
    An Implementation Analyst's main customer is their Investment team, however they also provide a vital link between Operations, Client Service teams and the Fund Manager. They will also work together with the Trading team on the implementation of trades and liquidity management, instructing contingent trades.

    Key Activities

  • Work closely with the FM's & Implementation Managers to size and raise FX and Equity orders;
  • Restriction monitoring ensuring all orders conform with client mandates and in-house rules;
  • Monitor portfolios for corporate actions, fund distributions and asset expiry;
  • Management and implementation of Corporate actions, IPO's and Placements;
  • Maintain and monitor daily cash balances ensuring accounts do not go overdrawn;
  • Overseeing daily cash flows into Mandates keeping Fund Managers up to date with cash positions;
  • Monitoring trade lifecycles ensuring they are settled correctly;
  • Manage Portfolio models;
  • Resolve pricing and accounting issues and
  • Liaise with a number of in-house departments and third parties with respect to monitoring trades and general maintenance of client portfolios.

    • The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Experience of at least 2-3 years in a front office support role;
  • A good understanding of equity securities and markets, including derivatives;
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and multi task;
  • Strong in both written and verbal English communication skills;
  • Ability to build strong relationships across teams or departments;
  • Have an understanding of process and how operation and support teams work;
  • Keen interest in financial markets and instruments;
  • A critical thinker who's able to look at things from different angles and enjoys solving problems and
  • Able to identify areas that need attention or have gaps and suggest and drive solutions.

  • Knowledge of Aladdin – PFC, PFM and Dashboard;
  • Previous use of Factset, Eikon, Bloomberg and
  • IMC preferred or willingness to complete.
