    This is an exciting time to join Landau Forte Academy, Amington.

    We are an oversubscribed forward thinking 11-16 academy on a mission to provide high quality education for our local community and in May 2022 we were judged GOOD in all areas by Ofsted.

    We have dedicated time to create a feedback and assessment policy that prioritises student progress but utilises live marking in the classroom, and whole-class feedback to enable staff to use their PPA time to focus on delivering exceptional learning.

    Competent in the use of ICT both as an administrative tool and in teaching, learning and assessment practices.
    Support the ethos and values and overall purpose of the Academy
    Raise standards and the profile of Scienceacross the Academy
    Support the Faculty Leader and Deputy Faculty Leader in whole faculty and whole school initiatives
    Collaborate with the Faculty Leader, in order to identify groups of KS4students at risk of underachieving and support in the provision of impactful teaching and learning strategies
    Lead the maintaining and updating of resources for teaching, including curriculum design and schemes of work
    Support the Faculty Leader in the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning within the department and across the Academy
    Contribute to staff training and the sharing of best practice and pedagogy
    Ensure data collection is consistent, regularly reporting to the Faculty Leader and identifying any issues
    Support in conducting analysis of assessment data, in order to produce raising attainment plans to improve standards
