Job summary
We are looking to recruit and train enthusiastic healthcare and administrative professionals with a keen interest in digital healthcare to our Electronic Health Record (EHR) team. The successful candidates will join an experienced and diverse team of analysts who support UCLH's digital EHR.Patients are at the centre of everything we do. Please note interviews for this role will be held virtually between 1st and 3rd July and candidates will need to be available on these dates.
Main duties of the job
We work closely with clinical, administrative and managerial staff; we analyse their processes and help them agree clinical best practice standards and workflows. The team modify Epic to reflect and support these working practices. We test changes to ensure that they fulfil organisation requirements, are safe, and work as expected. We provide support to end-users using our specialist application knowledge through regular meetings and through incident investigation and resolution. We have excellent relationships with departmental leads, super-users and subject matter experts who help prioritise our workstreams. We have a rolling upgrade programme which delivers new features and functionality to ensure the system is up-to-date.Candidates who are already Epic certified will be employed at band 7. Candidates who do not have a certification will start at band 6 and undertake a period of training to obtain certification in the relevant Epic module. You will progress to a Band 7 when you achieve certification and demonstrate competence via assessment across all elements of the role. You will be fully supported by your manager and team throughout this process.Applicants without an Epic certification will be required to undertake the Epic aptitude assessment (the Sphinx test) prior to interview.
