    Who we are looking for

    State Street Corporate Audit is looking for a versatile and talented business professional interested in progressing their knowledge, skillset, and career through challenging stretch assignments. The successful candidate will assist in the performance of internal audits primarily across State Street's UK, Ireland & Asia Pacific businesses but from time to time also across our North America businesses. With a background or demonstrable interest in internal audit, the successful candidate will have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

    The role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

    What you will be responsible for

    As Auditor, Senior Associate you will also;

    • Assist in the performance of internal audits across State Street Corporation's global business
    • Demonstrate proficiency in assessing risks, evaluating and testing the design and effectiveness of internal controls and applying audit skills.
    • Complete audit workpapers in compliance with the Corporate Audit division's Audit Methodology.
    • Communicate audit progress, results and findings to the Lead Auditor and Audit Manager.
    • Review and validate corrective actions implemented by management to remediate audit findings.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, Corporate Audit procedures, the Institute of Internal Auditor Standards and industry regulations.
    • Stay abreast of industry developments including but not limited to changes in regulations.
    • Develop overall product / business unit knowledge of State Street Corporation

    Education & Preferred Qualifications

    • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting or Banking/Finance
    • 2+ years of experience in financial services or public accounting firms having work in financial services firms

    Additional requirements

    Some travel to other State Street locations may be required.
