We are now recruiting for a
Senior Business Development Manager for a vibrant, forward thinking and commercially driven Social Enterprise and Registered Charity who are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.


As Senior Business Development Manager, you will take a leading role in developing our clients sales practice, improving methodology, systems and processes so they can scale in line with their strategic objectives.


Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you will work to identify opportunities for growth, taking a systematic approach to business development as they pivot from a product to a solutions-based practice.


You will work closely with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to ensure the smooth and timely handover of new Partner Businesses and continuously spot opportunities to cross-sell and collaborate.


As a member of the Extended Leadership team, you will play an important role communicatingstrategic objectives, amplifying values and behaviours and championing the social enterprise model internally and externally.


Responsibilities:


  • Achieving agreed income and activity targets for new business by securing five or six figure partnerships
  • Developing and nurturing a pipeline of highquality prospects, ensuring the sales CRM is well maintained at all times
  • Working closely with the Head of Partnerships on high value tenders, RFPs and sales pursuits
  • Empower and guide the CEO, Leadership Team and Trustees to sell better into their networks.
  • Working closely with the team on new business campaigns, content creation and sales collateral
  • Alongside members of the Partnerships team, designing and facilitating a compelling schedule of engagement activities including cohosted events, annual conferences, sector specific knowledge and learning events and networking opportunities
  • Alongside the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, make improvements to the new Partner Business customer journey
  • Continually mapping the probono market to ensure offer is as relevant and compelling as it can be.

Requirements:


  • Internal and external stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience of new business sales working with 6 figure deals.
  • Ideally from a Solutions oriented environment.
  • An ability to guide prospects through the cycle, you will require persistence and patience.
  • It would be beneficial if you have an IT, Professional Services Sales or Accountancy background.
  • An understanding of complex stakeholder based sales.
  • CRM experience.
  • The gravitas to
    lead pitches, ideally used to speaking with Corporate clients.
  • Selling into learning and development / HR/ Training background would be desirable.
  • People management experience is beneficial.
