They operate a 23-bedded care home dedicated to providing a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for our elderly residents.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 23-bedded elderly care home.
The Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements, while fostering a supportive and enriching environment for residents and staff alike.
Provide strong leadership and direction to the care home team, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork.Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
Resident Care and Well-being:Ensure the delivery of person-centered care tailored to the individual needs and preferences of residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' care needs and develop care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulations, and take responsibility for the overall quality and safety of care provided.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care practices and identify areas for improvement.
Manage the care home budget effectively, monitoring expenditure, and implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate.Ensure efficient utilization of resources while maintaining high standards of care and service delivery.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role within the healthcare or elderly care sector.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing care homes.
Excellent communication and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to promoting resident-centered care.
Proficiency in IT systems and record-keeping software.
