    Job Purpose


    You will be a key member of our client's data community in order to help build their data-driven decision-making processes.

    You will apply advanced analytical techniques to transform data into valuable insights and contribute to innovative solutions that will contribute to the organisation's success.


    As a team-player, you will work together with their central, regional, and local teams all around the world to build their capacity to analyse and interpret data to support their schools.

    You will be part of a new team in their Global Headquarters and will have the flexibility and curiosity to support our Executive Team to derive strategic insight and to deliver bespoke pieces of work.

    The Role


    DATA ANALYSIS AND MODELING
    Perform exploratory data analysis to define analytical models
    Develop advanced quantitative models using a variety of programs/software to support predictive assessments
    Provide expertise for analytical, strategic, and operational analysis
    Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights
    Develop and implement algorithms and statistical models to solve complex business problems
    Build, test, validate and demonstrate analytical models through various relevant error metrics and calibration techniques
    Provide recommendations for plans, programs, strategies, policies and budgets.
    Design algorithms that require several different models/methods to be used in an ensemble
    Deploy models into production


    DATA VISUALIZATION AND REPORTING
    Work with data science techniques and libraries to show data's applicability to business problems
    Design informative and visually appealing data visualisations to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders
    Prepare and deliver regular reports on data-driven insights and recommendations
    Perform technical risk analysis and reliability assessments
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into strategic initiatives
    Responsible for data integrity and quality, taking a pro-active approach to aligning our data to their data definitions

    DELIVERY & INNOVATION

    Stay up to date with the latest data science and machine learning trends, tools, and technologies
    Contribute to research and development efforts to enhance data science capabilities across the organisation and its Data Community
    Build cross-functional relationships to ensure that they're maximising the use of data from across the organisation
    Create cross-functional working groups as required
    Work closely with regional and local colleagues to understand the business better, and get closer to the 'product' - ensuring that you deliver the very best insights

    Personal Specifcations

    Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
    Certification from any of the three major cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) in Cloud Architecture / Engineering / DevOps / ML
    Proficient experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Snowflake, Databricks, Supermetrics, Python)
    Experience in developing algorithms using data science technologies to build analytical models
    Experience in data extraction/manipulation experience using scripts specific to AI/ML
    IT experience
    Relevant experience delivering AI/ML projects
    Experience of modelling experience using a variety of regression and supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
    Experience in data wrangling/cleansing, statistical modelling, and programming
    Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
    Advanced experience in Excel
    Strong ability to work across multiple projects
    Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
    Excellent analytical skills - with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
    Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
    Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
    You would like to work in a purpose-led sector.
