    We have a new vacancy for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our friendly Finance team at our head office in Cheltenham.

    In this role, you will work closely with our Financial Accountant in the production of monthly accounts for our practices, ensuring accounting policies are followed and an accurate presentation of performance is reflected.

    Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring balances and movements are understood and supported with backing schedules.

    Liaise with colleagues in the wider finance team to investigate and justify items held and to provide narrative to support and explain balances.

    Maintain and update fixed asset registers for group companies.
    Assist at year end in the provision of statutory audit data as requested by the auditors.

    Work with the Financial Accountant and the rest of the team to resolve queries, identifying opportunities to improve processes.

    ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified accountant
    Strong IT skills, especially in Excel

    We offer a hybrid working model that allows you to split your week between working from home, and our support office in Cheltenham.

    This will likely be 1 or 2 days a week in the office, with full flexibility around the days that work best for you, and the rest working from home.

    Our office is conveniently located opposite the racecourse entrance, and features a café on-site, free parking, and beautiful parkland surroundings.
