    Nursery: Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool
    Salary: Starting at £25,727 - £26,712 per year (full time equivalent, depending on qualifications and experience)
    Location: Saffron Walden, CB11


    We're on the lookout for a part-time Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery.

    Our Nursery, located within the Saffron Walden County High School grounds, has earned an "Good" rating from Ofsted.

    Situated conveniently, our nursery offers on-site parking and a welcoming staff room filled with treats for our staff to enjoy.


    The nursery is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

    For a part-time role, we are open to considering working two, three, or four days a week from Monday to Friday.

    The typical shift patterns could be from 8:00am-4:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm, 9:30am-6:00pm, or similar.

    Your responsibilities:
    • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to each child's development
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers
    • Prioritize child welfare, health, safety, and safeguarding
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and safe environment

    Requirements:
    • Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years (mandatory)
    • Previous experience in working with children, ideally as a Nursery Nurse or similar role
    • Passion for creating a fun learning environment
    • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
    • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection
