- Work closely with the project managers throughout the life of the project
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of project billings
- Ensure timely closing of monthly WIP and investigating variances
- Responsible for first line of credit control prior to escalation to project management team
- Preparing weekly debtors report and leading weekly meeting with project managers
- Proactively determine projects that include reimbursable client billings and understand individual client requirements for such billings
- Responsible for closing out projects in accounting software
- Running monthly revenue forecasting sessions with project management teams
- Reallocation of project costs where necessary
- Assist with project compliance as needed
- Ensuring correct VAT rates are applied to billings across multiple jurisdictions
- Weekly timecard import and analysis
- Other duties as assigned
- 2/3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
- Project accounting experience is a must
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Intermediate excel skills a must
- ERP Software experience
