    Description

    Your role overview

    We are thrilled to be looking for a Fund Accountant to join our Investment Operations team at Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM). This role presents an excellent opportunity for Finance graduates or individuals pursuing a Professional Accounting qualification to join our exceptional Property Fund Accounting Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Posting and reconciliation of cash
    • Preparing NAV statements and investor reporting packs
    • Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Liaising with external parties such as lawyers, auditors, and Business Partners
    • Production of property fund data, VAT returns, and other tax compliance reporting
    • Cash management including payments, investor drawdowns, and liquidity monitoring
    • Implementing and improving finance procedures
    • Supporting fund and asset managers with accounting and valuation queries

    Requirements

    • Working towards a Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or interested in pursuing one
    • Specialist knowledge in IFRS and Excel
    • Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
    • Adaptable to fast-paced and changing environments
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills
    • Team player with fund accounting experience
    • Desirable experience in property and VAT accounting
