    Job descriptionAs part of the National Business Development and Marketing team, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Clients & Markets Manager to help drive local business development activity and focus on increasing profitability through the generation of opportunities, bid support and events that will help us grow and engage with our clients and contacts.

    The Clients & Markets Manager will operate as the business partner to the regional stakeholders ensuring that the regional drive for growth remains on strategy and maintains momentum.

    They will work closely with the Office Managing Partner (OMP), local BD & Marketing partner lead, regional heads of sector and the wider Clients & Markets and Marketing teams.

    The Clients & Markets Manager role focuses on driving growth in the region through relationship management, identifying new opportunities, bid management, promoting campaigns, local data management and local event management.

    The successful applicant will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, be highly organised with excellent project management, time management and coordination skills and have the ability to work well under pressure.

    Being able to communicate at all levels with confidence and forge strong working relationships is essential. You will be working in a National team dealing with our people and liaising with clients.

    Key responsibilitiesWorking day to day with senior stakeholders and decision makersDriving local business development activity which aligns with the firmwide business development strategyContinually reviewing the firms market position and benchmarking against competitorsIdentifying sponsorship opportunities which enhance the firms brand and target audience reachWorking alongside the local stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and intermediariesLocal event management; working with the National Marketing team to plan, host and attend the event and manage the follow up – building on national initiativesClient care and account planningSupporting local stakeholders with generating business opportunities with new and existing clientsSupporting with the end to end bid process, from document generation to bid debriefsSupporting the National Marketing team with local marketing activities as requiredKey relationship management and coordinationDevelop and maintain relationships with the national Clients & Markets team, regional stakeholders and OMPs.

    Foster a collaborative culture with the wider Clients & Markets and Marketing team with a focus on a 'one team' perspectiveShare ideas and feedback within the wider Clients & Markets team to share best practice and collaborate on sector and service campaigns and activitiesDrive BD culture in the region and focus on increasing profitabilityWorking alongside the local stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and intermediariesBid supportSupport local stakeholders with the end to end bid process which may include:

    Attend scoping meetings with businesses alongside the stakeholdersCreate compelling bid documents that align with the 'Request for Proposal' and Crowe's offeringWork with the stakeholders and service teams to collate all information required for the bid documentSupport with rehearsals ahead of the pitch meetingsChair debrief meetings with businesses following the decisionData ManagementWork with stakeholders to maintain marketing lists, target lists, client lists and the upkeep of referrals and conversion/opportunity pipelineSupport with day to day CRM activities and encourage best practice with local teamsSkills & ExperienceProfessional services BD experience and knowledge of the accountancy professionExperience of bid-writing and client engagementAble to forge strong working relationships with a range of key stakeholdersAn active team player and self-starterFlexible and adaptable to changeHighly organised with excellent project management, time management and coordination skillsGood local network with intermediaries (Preferred)Experienced with the full Microsoft Suite (Essential)Experienced with using a CRM system (Preferred)Why choose Crowe?Crowe is where talented people can realise their potential, are successful and enjoy what they do by making a positive difference to our clients, communities and each other.
