I have twenty years of teaching experience, mainly in International schools and colleges in Amman Jordan and the UAE. I worked as Arabic Director/ Whole School Curriculum Coordinator, mainly working with college students. I am passionate about Arabic language and Culture and I have organized many projects and after college clubs in order to promote the former, these include; Debating clubs, Arabic Film Appreciation Club, College Website group -setting up a domain which celebrated and educated about Jordanian Culture and Heritage.

During my work as Head of Arabic Language Department in two schools, I worked as an IB Examiner for Arabic.  I supervised over 100 plus, extended essays in Arabic language and literature, and taught over 40 novels and 10 Arabic plays, one of which I helped to stage in the theatre. 

I have just completed an 18 -month contract as a Teacher Development Coach/Arabic Specialist for Alef for Education Company in Abu Dhabi. As well as training teachers, I also worked in curriculum content creation, proof reading and editing for UAE Cultural Sensitivity. I now feel inspired to get back into the lecture hall and begin teaching students again delivering exciting and engaging lectures.
