Amira Elhawary

I have both Academic and clinical experience, working as a lecturer in Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology for 8 years in a medical school in Egypt,  and as Clinical Toxicologis in a Poison  Control Centre.

I have GMC regeneration with full licence to practice Medicine in UK.

And I am a fellow in Advance Higher Education Academy in UK.

Academic Experience

• Teaching in small and large groups of students in the following modules; clinical toxicology, forensic medicine, professionalism, interviewing skills, educational skills, clinical simulation.
• Using BPL, TBL, simulation sessions, case based discussion in teaching small groups.
• Course preparation, module coordination, course and programme report preparation 
• Exam preparation and marking with blueprint preparation

Clinical Experience 

• Working for 8 years in poison contrel centre,  dealing with emergencie of acute poisonong in adults and pediatrics.
• Clinical attachment in uk hospital, added to my clinical experience and allowed me to understand NHS system and deal with most common cases presented in A&E in UK. 

MBBS finishe in 2009 from Tanta University, Egypt.

Master degree in 2014 and MD degree in 2019 in Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology, Tanta University, Egypt.
