Cerine Karfa

I am an energetic, ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake, or situation that I am presented with. As a master's student at Sussex University studying, English PGCE, I am looking to expand my professional horizons, broadening my knowledge. I am excellent at working with others to achieve a certain objective on time and with excellence.

I have a year and a half of experience as a SEN teaching assistant. Within this role, I managed challenging behaviour in the classroom, reinforced a positive environment and developed educational techniques for SEN students. 

I have a year of experience as a leader in summer camp and under a year as a nanny. I ensured safety and health regulations were followed and managed and coordinated children. 

I have 2 years experience as a sales assistant - in which I gained excellent problem solving and communication skills too.

I have a bachelor's in Psychology with child development (at LSBU) and am currently enrolled to do my master's in teaching training at Sussex University.
