A friendly, fun, and knowledgeable drum teacher with over 10 years' teaching experience and nearly 20 years of drumming and gigging experience who is qualified & DBS approved. Someone who can explain the complex in a simple way, tailor lesson plans to each individual student, and inspire a love of drumming

I run my own tuition organisation, Drum Cabin Tuition, based in Woking. Alongside this I teach part time at The Music Works in Haslemere and Milford. I also do corporate events and teach in various companies.

Over the last year I have massively expanded my drum tuition to the point where I have been able to fully move away from my previous career in research and data analytics, and am now fully immersed in my passion: the drums!

I have taught students of all ages and abilities, and taught many with varying and complex needs including people with ADHD, ASD, and working memory issues. I am naturally able to work out why students are struggling with a concept and adjust the teaching method in light of this, and I use my friendly and relaxed nature to keep students focused and engaged but also keep them relaxed and having fun.

• Providing students of all ages with drum tuition at two schools, one in Milford, the other Haslemere, many of whom have complex needs, be it ADHD or working memory issues.

• Providing fun and inspiring drum lessons to students from across the Surrey and London area, many of whom with special educational needs, ASD & ADHD

• Assisting customers with all drum enquiries in the store and over the phone

• Working in the drum department shop floor in Guildford and helping customers choose drumming equipment that is right for them.

• Writing social media posts highlighting new and exciting products available instore

SENIOR POLICY RESEARCHER – WHICH? Ltd.                   APR 2022 – OCT 2022

• Scoping research projects, contracting external agencies for audience sampling, and carrying out in-depth qualitative research

• Working with colleagues in policy to design research to fit into their policy strategy with government & businesses to reduce consumer harm

• Writing concise reports that summarise consumers’ experience of Electric Vehicle charging across the UK. 

• Designing questions for the sustainability tracker to create the framework for one of the leading datasets measuring consumers’ sustainability behaviour
