About Emily Thomson :
I am a highly organised, motivated and goal-oriented team player with excellent communication skills and extensive experience in managing people and situations across both the public and private sectors. I have recently obtained practitioner qualifications in Prince2 and AgilePM, as well as a foundation in Change Management. I am known for my resilience and ambition, making me a well-suited candidate for a new and challenging role. I am actively seeking an opportunity to apply my expertise to contribute to a progressive and purposeful organisation that values innovation and responsibility.
Experience
With over a decade of diverse professional experience, my journey has been marked by versatility and adaptability across various roles and industries. I am currently a teacher of French and Spanish and excel in lesson planning, curriculum development, staff training and serving as ambassador for IT and Pupil Premium students for my department. Prior to teaching I have held key positions in travel coordination, transport supervision and administration management, each contributing to my well-rounded skillset. My journey reflects as commitment to continuous learning and adaptability across dynamic work environments.
Education
I hold practitioner qualifications in Prince2 and AgilePM as well as a foundation in Change Management. I also have a BA in French, Media and Translation Studies from UEA, and a PGCE in Secondary Education - Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Bristol and GITEP.
