About Nicole Weronika Kalmuczak:
I believe that I have the ability to be able to make a great impact on children’s learning, by having a broad range of skills which allows me to be adaptive to each child's need. By having great understanding of children’s specific educational needs, it allows individuals to secure their best possible outcome. Therefore, I wish to educate and instil a passion for learning in young people.

Experience
My teaching experience has included covering all areas of the curriculum and the use of enhanced provision to motivate pupils while catering to individual learning abilities. Preparing students for literacy and numeracy baseline assessment and evaluating individual assessment results to ensure children are placed in the correct ability groups. Managing pupil behaviour working in line with the school guidance for negative behaviour, recognising and encouraging positive behaviour through positive reinforcement.
I have extensive experience working within an STF setting with children who have moderate learning needs along with other complex needs including ASD, ADHD, and health needs.
- Appointed as an EAL leader undertaking EAL assessments on all EAL identified learners and offering support to students across the school.
- Worked alongside multi-agencies including Educational Psychologists, speech therapy and behaviour support teachers
- I have written and reviewed IEPs, attended training regarding ALN reform and have a detailed knowledge of the ALN bill.
- De-escalating children when they have violent outburst and also use visuals prompts to calm and support regulation.
- Using the following assessment tools SCERTS, INCERTS, Wellcomm, Speech and Language link
- Intervention knowledge including life skills, speech and language, occupational therapy.

- PGCE (Primary) gained at University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2021
- BSc 2:2 in Health and Social Care gained at University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2017
- Level 3 BTEC National Award in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and Welsh Baccalaureate
- 12 GCSE Grade C or above Including English and Mathematics
