Hannah Cookson

I am a highly motivated graduate, having completed my 4-year degree in Business and Human Resource Management with Spanish, at Sheffield Hallam University.

I have completed work experience at Amazon, having created and successfully implemented a tool which helps MAN4 track and predict labour hours & limit planning errors in the future.

Throughout my 4 years at university, I have consistently averaged at a first-class grade, working towards my CIPD Level 5 accreditation. Having worked full-time at Premier Inn during my studies, it has taught me the importance of time management and organisation, so that I can continue to excel at University and at work.

Whilst being at university, I successfully achieved two Microsoft Specialist certificates in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, which have massively aided me at work.

• Completing the end-to-end recruitment process, including preparing and placing job adverts on LinkedIn (using the recruiter seat) and on Indeed, creating job descriptions by liaising with hiring managers, supporting line managers in the interviews, all the way through to the offer stages.
• Managing the onboarding and offboarding cycle for all employees; creating offer letters and contracts, obtaining right to work documentation, acknowledging resignation letters, informing finance of new starters and leavers.
• Supported in developing HR related policies and procedures.
• Running and presenting reports on HR monthly metrics.
• Maintaining excellent working knowledge on current employment law and case law.
• Developing and delivering employee wellbeing, recognition and engagement initiatives onsite.
