This role was my first step in following my passion for social media. I was given the opportunity to understand how a wide marketing function operates inside a global fashion brand. This apprenticeship was unique in the fact that I was given time to work inside each team in Superdry's marketing department. I worked in various teams such as PR, Influencer, Retail, Email, & Social. During my time in the social team is where I really took advantage of the chance to learn and strengthen my skills. I leaned into my interest of Instagram & TikTok learning how to effectively operate and grow Superdry's audience through the use of tease, launch, sustain campaigns and how these intertwine with other functions within the business. This then led to me being able to brief in deliverables to our creative and influencer teams for social led campaigns across Instagram, TikTok & Facebook.

Following on from my time as an apprentice, I accepted the role of Social Media Executive where my responsibilities increased. As well as carrying out my daily duties of community management, scheduling, and reporting, I have also helped with the management of Superdry's TikTok account, where I manage organic and paid activity. I am well versed in setting up and running spark ads to boost brand awareness and growth. I have also been able to broaden these skills by assisting with the implementation of large paid media activations using video shopping ads across TikTok and the use of TikTok's TTCX creator platform. Since I joined the team in Oct 2021, we’ve seen growth on TikTok from 13K followers to 700K followers. This has all been accomplished through the delivery and use of influencer content, and assets captured by myself and the team on in-house TikTok shoots. As well as aligning with current trends and our strategy for growth on TikTok. I also have a wide range of experience managing campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Ensuring they align with the current social media strategy and work towards achieving the team’s KPIs.
