About Harsimran GOSAL:
My name is Harsimran (Simran) Kaur Gosal and I am a fourth-year dual qualifying law student at the University of Dundee. As a creative and hardworking individual, I hold the role of Diversity Officer for the Dundee University International Law Society.
My hobbies outside of academics have always revolved around creativity, entrepreneurship, and cultural exploration. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I saw an opportunity to start my own business and I launched a small operation making bespoke chocolate covered strawberries. To advertise my business, I leveraged my growing skills in content creation, producing visually appealing and engaging content that showcased my product and highlighted its unique features. Alongside strawberries, I created chocolate heart shaped moulds accompanied with a hammer used to uncover the surprise underneath.
In addition to my business ventures, I have a passion for travel and learning about new cultures. Through travelling to California I was faced with the harsh reality of the increase in homelessness that was strife throughout the streets of San Francisco. Having met individuals with a similar passion to help those less fortunate I volunteered for 2 months feeding, providing bags of essentials and spreading as much hope and positivity as I could.
I bring a unique perspective and a creative approach to problem-solving, and I am confident that I can bring a fresh and innovative perspective to the team. Whether I am working on a legal brief, helping a client with a marketing campaign, or simply chatting with colleagues at the firm, I believe that I will bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to any workplace.
