About Jane Parks:

I am a highly organised, motivated and dedicated individual with experience in HR (CIPD qualified), secretarial, administration roles as well as working within a school.  My core strengths are being organised, having excellent time management skills and the ability to be flexible, prioritise and adapt to changing situations.  I have excellent Interpersonal and communication skills as well as empathy and patience when dealing with people.   I have the necessary skills to develop, maintain and review information making decisions based on facts. My experience means that I have excellent time-management, prioritise tasks effectively with  discipline.  I am very reliable, hard-working and focused, and am willing to support/advise in any role. I have worked in small and large organisations making me proficient in working in a team, but also independently.  As I am a quick and keen learner, I am looking forward to taking on new challenges and additional responsibilities and ready to make the most of any opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and administered Education Intervention Groups – recording, analysing, and interpreting data.
  • Support a focus group in Speech and Language, reading, and writing. All data was recorded and filed.
  • Teach RE/PSHE weekly.  Planning and delivering lessons when required to do so.
  • Run and record phonics and reading assessments – analysing and interpreting data.
  • Implement and record Precision Monitoring and Benchmarking for reading and phonics.

  • Graduate recruitment – Acquiring Person and Job Specifications from managers and executives in the company. Liaising with Marketing Department and Universities to advertise the role and setting up Recruitment Fayres. Setting up Recruitment days and managing interviews. Ensuring all candidates had accommodation and their expenses were paid. 
  • Managing role advertising, liaising with agencies, setting up contracts and Terms and Conditions.
  • Induction – ensuring that during induction, rules and regulations were widely available.
  • Learning and Development – ensuring all staff are up to date with training, record keeping and liaising with external agencies’ for future training requirements.
  • Salary reviews across the company, involved in bench marking process.
  • Implemented a new integrated ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to work between Projects, HR, Finance/payroll. 
  • Managing grievance and disciplinary issues.
  • Overseas Assignments – ensure that contracts and medical aid were set up.  All accommodation and expenses had to be organised and managed.
  • Liaising with Pensions, Payroll, and Medical Aid with any changes for record keeping.
