About Jonah Denny Jacob :
I have worked in a copper logistics warehouse where I started off as a picker then was promoted to packer and then to head admin working 2 months. I have had experience in this role managing 30-40 people on a daily basis. It was my daily responsibility on a daily basis to manage the workers, track productivity, make sure we were on track to meet the targets set and deal with any unexpected situations or emergencies. This job gave me a deep look into managerial roles and taught me a lot about managing members of staff. I was also being considered for a team leader role here but I had to leave for university. I currently work as a bartender at Rosies Birmingham. This job has taught me a lot about the service industry and has taught me several new skills. Although I am not in a team leader role in this job, I am often entrusted with the responsibilities of a team leader. A few of these are seeing up the bars before shifts, supervising other staff members on bars when a team leader is not available, making sure restocking is done correctly and to an acceptable standard, conducting spirit checks to made sure the amount of stock on the bar is as it should be and overseeing the coding down and cleaning off bars at the end of shifts and making sure everything is as it should be. I believe I gave been entrusted with such responsibilities at bother both jobs for a couple reasons. I have proven myself to be trustworthy and reliable, being able to keep cool on busy and stressful situations and making the right decisions under pressure. I am also hard working and often above and beyond. Examples of this are coming in to work early to make sure everything is set up and as it should be for the shift, checking up on other members of staff, especially less experienced members to make sure they are ok and no mistakes are being made, staying later than I have to in order to make sure the bars are closed down properly and bars have been restricted fully to ensure a smooth set up for the next shift and much more.
